There’s never been a better time for bums. Curvy stars like Kim Kardashian and Nicki Minaj have been credited with putting big butts at the top of the sexy agenda and with online magazine Style Caster reporting that since 2000, there has been an “80% rise in butt implants” the question has to be asked: are bums the new boobs?!
In recent years, the once humble bottom has quite literally taken centre-stage as an object of real desire in mainstream culture. ‘Twerking’ – that booty shaking jiggle that got Miley Cyrus and her tiny tush on the front page of every newspaper and magazine even made its way into the Oxford Online Dictionary in 2013.

Australian Cosmo was recently been criticised for photoshopping the bountiful thighs and butt of Iggy Azalea to make her appear slimmer; Iggy’s ass, which is possibly more famous than her catchy tunes, actually has a Facebook page and thousands of followers dedicated to it!
In fact, her backside has just partnered up with the infamous curves of J-Lo in a very steamy video for their new duet, Booty. The teaser alone has already attracted millions of hits on YouTube and is due to be released in full any day now so brace yourself and your butt; if your clients haven’t already started asking you to show off or shake your booty, they soon will.
So how do you get one?
Well, implants seem like a drastic option when, unlike boobs, exercise can quite naturally and literally, make a very big difference to your backside.
Like any feature of a hot bod, a great bum takes a lot of work but as an escort, the rewards of having one can really pay off so get your tunes on and your bum toned with these five butt-boosting exercises that you can do anywhere:
Squats will help you to tone your butt and if you work hard, make it plumper too. You can do them anywhere so while you’re answering your client’s emails or deciding what to wear to meet them, drop and give yourself 20.
Simply stand with your feet shoulder-width or slightly more apart and squat down as though you were taking a seat. When your knees are bent at 90 degrees, clench those cheeks and bring yourself up to a standing position.
Do 20 at a time slowly to make each one really count and try and do three sets of 20 per day. To really give your ass a more challenging workout, add weights by holding dumbbells or wearing a rucksack with some heavy books inside it.
- Walking Lunges
To do a regular lunge, begin with your feet shoulder width apart, take a large stride forward with your right foot and bend your knees until your left knee almost touches the floor, then rise back into your starting, standing position.
A walking lunge works exactly the same except you push forward instead of returning to your starting position. Large steps help target the butt muscles and you can do these while moving around at home.
Need to get a drink from the kitchen or a jumper from the bedroom? Do walking lunges to get there and back and you’ll have a hard, round booty in no time!
- Stair Climbing
Going up and down stairs is great cardio, but climbing stairs two at a time, just like long-stride lunges will also specifically target those ass muscles, so forget the lift while you’re out and about, hit the stairs two at a time and get a mini-workout in whenever you can.
Kickbacks are really easy to do but don’t let that deceive you, do a few of these and your ass will really know about it!
Simply stand upright and while keeping your right leg straight, lift it out behind you until your toes are raised about a foot off the floor. Hold it there for a count of three or better yet, raise and lower your leg just an inch and pulse it like that 5 times before returning to your starting position.
Alternate each leg and work each one 20 times. Kickbacks are great because you can do them while you’re making a coffee, doing the dishes or pretty much anytime you’re standing up.
- Butt Lifts
Butt lifts help to really tighten those cheeks but also give your abs a workout and a trim, toned and narrow waist will make your bum look even curvier to give you a sexy hourglass shape.
Simply lay on the floor with your arms by your sides and rest your heels on a raised surface like a yoga ball, the edge of your couch or your bed. Now squeeze those cheeks and raise your hips off the floor as high as you can so that you’re balancing on your heels and shoulders.
For the best results, control the movements and lower yourself slowly back down to your starting position.
All of these exercises are so easy that you don’t need special equipment or hours in the gym and by doing them while you carry out other tasks you’ll develop a bootylicious backside before you know it.
